I agree about the casting! Awesome job whoever it is.. The best thing they did was cast Anna Paquin. She is so the opposite in appearance to the requirements of sookie stackhouse, but the show was willing to look at her acting credentials and her talent, not her looks.. Says alot about Anna and how good she is at her job..Says alot about the show also, to cast actors based on who’s best for the role.. Go Anna, Go Sook, Go TB!!

The thing about Anna Paquin is that she is beautiful in a not obvious kinda way, if you know what I mean. She has a lot of charisma and she is so talented.

Yes, they do sound alike too. I think I noticed the resemblance during the bed scene SO MUCH because Alex was playing Eric ‘relaxed and full of love’. But if you look for pics of Stellan when he was young, Alex looks JUST like him, except blonder and a bit taller – but that doesn’t hurt does it! They’re both very good looking men!

Leave her alone she’s an amazing actress and you don’t know her so don’t judge her for who she dates. Marilyn Manson is weird and quirky but he’s still human!! And she has her own weird unique side so that’s why they worked when they dated. But now she’s grown up and wants to try something different. I think Alex Skargard is a great choice if it’s true and it’s pretty obvious they have chemistry when they were onscreen in the season finale.

Boy I sure don’t agree with that! I think Alex looks alot like his mom in the face.He has his dad’s height and great acting ability for sure! But having seen lots of Stellans older movies I think Alex is much better looking and has a better body.
I’m thinking of Stellan like he was in Anita, which is ancient as all heck, but you can still find copies of it out there. Alex reminds me a lot of him in that. But I do agree that Alex is much better looking, he’s also taller. My and Stellan made some good looking babies.

You know I googled that movie “anita” and you were right! When Stellan was VERY young he had a similar look to Alex when HE was very young! You are also right about old-that is an OLD movie.
